The agreement
Last updated 10 August 2026
The agreement between you and us. Plain words where plain words will do.
Checking in creates the agreement. If you do not agree, do not check in. These terms are between you and GV Mediatech.
You must be at least 16 and not barred from using the service under the law that applies to you. One person, one passport; do not create a passport for somebody else without their say-so.
You are responsible for your PIN and for anything done with your passport. We cannot recover a PIN — only a hash is stored — so keep your recovery code somewhere safe. Tell us at once if you think somebody else is in your book. Changing your PIN or recovering your book signs out every other device.
You own what you write and upload. Nothing here changes that.
To run the service we need a licence to hold and show it: you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy and display your content solely to operate Rewynd and to show it to the people you have chosen to show it to. The licence ends when you delete the content or your passport, except for copies in backups until those expire, and except where somebody else has already lawfully saved or exported something you made public.
We do not use your photographs to advertise Rewynd, and we do not licence your content to anyone else.
You promise that what you upload is yours to upload, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
The Community Guidelines are part of these terms. Beyond those: do not attack the service or its infrastructure, do not try to reach data that is not yours, do not scrape it in bulk, do not resell it, and do not use it to break the law.
We may remove content or suspend a passport that breaks these terms or the guidelines. Where we can, we will tell you why, and you may reply to us on Instagram at @rewynd.travel. Where the law requires us to act without notice, we will act without notice.
We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue Rewynd entirely we will give reasonable notice and time to export your book.
Delete your passport whenever you like, from Settings. Export first if you want to keep it — see clause 8 of the Privacy Policy for what happens to the data.
Rewynd is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that anything in it is accurate. See the Disclaimer, which is part of these terms.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us and ₹1,000. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
If somebody brings a claim against us because of what you put on Rewynd or how you used it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs in dealing with it.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. Write to nivedithg@nivedithg.com first — most things are settled that way.
We will post material changes on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use Rewynd after that is how you accept them.
